The combination of Blockchain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) presents a revolutionary method for tackling the urgent issues of security and data integrity in interconnected device networks. With the increasing adoption of IoT in areas like smart homes, healthcare, and industrial automation, the weaknesses of traditional, centralised systems have become more evident. This article examines the incorporation of Blockchain technology into IoT ecosystems, emphasising its capacity to bolster security measures, thwart cyberattacks, and guarantee data integrity via decentralised and cryptographically secure procedures. This study compares Blockchain-enabled IoT with traditional data management approaches and shows that although Blockchain presents challenges like increased latency and operational costs, its advantages in terms of tamper-proof data records, transparency, and fault tolerance make it a promising solution for future IoT deployments. The results emphasise the need of implementing Blockchain technology to safeguard the expanding network of interconnected devices, guaranteeing trust and dependability in crucial applications.
