There are numerous techniques for using passive devices to produce harmonics. One major benefit of resistive frequency multipliers using a Schottky diode is that their bandwidth is wider than that of conventional frequency multipliers. The infinite harmonic can be generated using diode with a sinusoidal input signal. This paper presented the optimization of harmonic generation in frequency multiplying circuit for wireless application. An analysis and design are derived. Passive frequency multipliers take advantage of the nonlinear behavior of passive components. Passive frequency multipliers, whether resistive or capacitive, have the potential to provide high-order multiplication, low noise, and large bandwidths. Schottky Diodes can be used to multiply frequencies. The performance between frequency doubling System using Schottky diode and frequency Tripler System using Schottky diode is compared. Performance was evaluated in terms of output Voltage (mV), output frequency (MHz) and Output power (dBm). The advantage of frequency doubling System using Schottky diode is fast switching and more output voltage provides to the load side as compare to frequency Tripler system using Schottky diode. Frequency doubling System using Schottky diode are more efficient than frequency Tripler System using Schottky diode. Input power -4.66 dBm given to frequency Doubler as well as Tripler system using Schottky diode. Output power -13.932 dBm for frequency doubling System and -15.027 dBm for Tripler system using Schottky diode is observed.
