Susceptibility of Analog IC Applications

STMicroelectronics (Italy) and Politecnico di Torino have investigated the effects of EMI on the operation of analog building blocks like operational amplifiers and bandgap circuits. Within this research, the main causes of upset in the nominal operation of such building blocks have been highlighted and new circuit topologies immune to EMI have been designed, fabricated and experimentally characterized.
