This paper analyzes and researches the problem of underwater target tracking in deep and distant water, and designs a joint acoustic-magnetic underwater target detection and tracking scheme with initial positioning of sonar buoys and precise positioning and tracking of magnetic detection drone in formation. Meanwhile, based on the FD (Flaming Datum) algorithm, a joint acoustic-magnetic underwater target detection and tracking model is established using Monte Carlo method, and the model simulation analysis is carried out for several variable parameters. The simulation analysis concludes that five variable parameters, namely, buoy detection error coefficient, number of magnetic detection drones, search speed of magnetic detection drone, search radius of magnetic detection drone, and target escape speed, have a large impact on the probability of underwater target detection, and can be combined with the capabilities of sonobuoys and magnetic detection drones to formulate a corresponding detection scheme for different target characteristics, so as to achieve efficient and fast detection results.
