The rapid growth of technology has brought along an era marked by increasing interconnectedness, while at the same time offering unprecedented opportunities and vulnerabilities. Cybersecurity has become the prime issue for all countries in the world, including Georgia, which is also the case in this instance.This research is a comprehensive study of the current position of cybersecurity in Georgia, with a focus on developing a robust and sustainable cyber ecosystem. The outcomes of this study, which analyzes Georgia’s cybersecurity landscape in the context of government policies, industry initiatives, and academic programs, are crucial for understanding and addressing the cybersecurity workforce shortage, particularly the underrepresentation of women. The research delves into the factors contributing to the gender gap in the cybersecurity field and evaluates the impact of existing projects to bridge this gap.Suggestions include boosting the public-private alliance, allocating cybersecurity education and training funds, and advancing workforce gender equality. Through the measures mentioned and outlined within the research, Georgia will indisputably be the country’s leader in cyber resilience development, and thus, a better digital society will be assured.
