A cluster-based congestion avoidance technique using the A* and priority-queue heuristic technique

A typical Internet of Things (IoT) consists of thousands of sensors that are powered by a finite amount of energy. To extend the network lifespan, clustering techniques were introduced. Nevertheless, when assessing a network&s;s lifetime, the majority of previous research ignores network coverage. To enhance network performance, this article suggests finding the quickest, most effective path that avoids congestion. To enhance network lifetime by more than 44%, save a significant amount of energy, and lower energy consumption across all network nodes, the clustering strategy is suggested in this article.
