Fingerprint recognition is a cornerstone in the field of image recognition, computer vision and artificial intelligence, commonly used to identify people based on unique patterns on their fingers. This research uses Deep Learning, a type of artificial intelligence that can learn from data to build a fingerprint recognition system. Using fingerprint images from a public dataset provided by NeuroTechnology and the FVC2002 collection, we employed a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as the primary model to train our system to recognize fingerprint patterns. This study explores how deep learning can improve fingerprint recognition for better security, making it more reliable and practical for everyday use.
