Flex Diagrams
Scott Sherman, Yossi Elran, Ann Schwartz · 2025
This chapter presents definitions and symbols to help us perform a flex. These easy-to-understand arrows and dashed and dotted lines indicate actions such as “mountain fold” and “valley fold”. Drawings and diagrams show how the symbols translate into actions, faces are color-coded, and internal structures are represented by dashes within brackets. Diagrams are then applied to the flexes already learned. Additional simple shorthand symbols are introduced that describe a series of flexes and a handy summary presents all the new symbols for review.
