Saddaf Rubab, Iqra Nazish · 2025

Government schools are producing enormous amounts of data daily which is managed in paper-driven setup and prone to inaccuracy and inconsistency in records. Hence, an automated system for managing school administrative activities is required which can bring accuracy and consistency by providing digital access. This study analyzed existing frameworks for the automation of school system. Considering the gaps identified, a survey is conducted from different target groups of government school education departments. Results showed few modules are partially automated while others are yet to be considered. The major tendency of teachers towards using automated modules for a complete school management system is evident from the results. Based on the requirements and challenges faced by government school employees, a framework for automation of school management system is proposed to introduce smart data monitoring setup by splitting record and activity management modules under different control privileges. Remarkable user satisfaction is achieved in framework validation survey and prototype.
