After seeing the success of the Bitcoin blockchain, many assume that the data in a blockchain would only be for financial transactions, but it is not particularly limited to that, the data can be anything of value. It depends on the network and the industry that they are in, it could be transactions or quantity, timestamps, a location, or any other flow of information that can be stored and used on a blockchain. The proposed framework aims to design a business model in the healthcare industry by connecting all the peers in the healthcare supply chain. The result of this framework is a complete patient-centric, decentralized, and immutable healthcare ecosystem.
