Stroke, a leading contributor to mortality and disability in China, significantly impacts language skills such as speaking, listening, reading, writing, and communication in a considerable proportion of patients who experience aphasia. However, there is a lack of aphasia assessment batteries tailored to non-written Chinese dialect, the Teochew dialect, leading to challenges in timely diagnosis and treatment. Current assessment batteries, both domestically and internationally, are often time-consuming and not adapted to local dialects, making evaluation and treatment of Teochew dialect-speaking aphasia patients difficult. Additionally, limited healthcare resources in aphasia treatment result in missed opportunities for recovery. To address these issues, this paper presents a rapid assessment battery designed specifically for Teochew dialect-speaking aphasia patients. The primary objective is to provide a reliable multidimensional assessment of language abilities within approximately 15 minutes. The battery’s content, including assessment materials, procedures, and scoring criteria, adheres to scientific principles. Furthermore, rigorous psychometric validation ensures its clinical applicability and widespread adoption. Experimental results demonstrate the Method’s excellent psychometric reliability, alignment with clinical diagnoses, and the ability to complete assessments within 15 minutes. In conclusion, this assessment battery efficiently generates reliable multidimensional aphasia functional reports, enhancing diagnostic efficiency and facilitating patient rehabilitation.
