Cross-Disciplinary Approaches in R&D Fusing Artificial Intelligence With Film Studies

The work addresses the increasing potential to employ creative methods beyond synergistic limits in research and development during the age of boundless technology. The research offers a unique perspective on sensory integration by examining the intersections of artificial intelligence (AI) and film studies. This endeavour aims to develop a technical product that encapsulates and enhances human essence through the perspectives and creativity of filmmakers, achievable solely via artificial intelligence technologies. Furthermore, it seeks to investigate the impact of AI on filmmaking, narrative construction, perception, and analysis. We investigate connections with film studies (e.g., genres and technology) to reconceptualise research and development. This study examines the opportunities and constraints presented by AI in filmmaking and production.
