Care coordination, data security, and interoperability challenges may all be addressed using blockchain in healthcare. In the healthcare industry, a significant amount of data is generated daily, including medical records, test results, invoices, and clinical trials. However, this data is often locked in separate, isolated systems, creating challenges for access and analysis. Integration of these systems is crucial to unlock the full potential of healthcare data for improved decision making and collaboration among providers. As day by day the medical records are stacking up, securing that data from theft becomes a major concern. We wish to ensure greater trust in patients. To ensure this, blockchain is the way to go. In addition to this, blockchain can help us to compile various medical data over different sites under one chain, so that the doctor can use that record for further diagnosis. In this paper, a block chain technology is deployed for EHR and a framework is proposed to enable safe storage of electronic records for users by setting granular access controls. To examine the scalability challenge that block chain technology faces in general by using off-chain record storing, the framework offers the EHR system a scalable, secure, and integral blockchain-based solution. In the proposed system, we can register either as a patient or as a doctor. A patient can share his previous medical records with a given registered doctor. Multiple patients can give access to multiple doctors. The doctors can access given patients&s; previous medical histories and can give new prescriptions to them.
