The designer considered the protection of the hardware circuit design due to the illegal production and insertion of trojans as a major problem for the semiconductor industry. Logic locking is an effective way to overcome this problem in which additional key gates are inserted to protect the design under test. Boolean Satisfiability attack (SAT attack) is a considerable attack to get the key information from a protected design. To protect our design from such attacks, we proposed LockPath, a very effective technique that can withstand SAT attacks better than the previously proposed technique using a smaller number of key gates.
