Limits of physics in Computer Sciences

Veronique Gilson W. · DOAJ (DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals) · 2018

The term information has received different meanings throughout history and from the point of view of different writers in the general field of Computational Sciences. And although some are likely to be useful enough for certain applications, the question of the limits of this type of physics deserves further study and ongoing recognition. It is expected that a single concept of information can satisfactorily account for the many possible applications of this general field, but in the current society of the information, it is needed a transdisciplinary work that offers results that delimit and clarify the concept and its usefulness for the humanity. This work seeks, on the one hand, to analyze physical principles such as space, time and causality in computer and computational questions and, on the other hand, to explain some key computational concepts in physical terms, necessary to understand those physical principles.
