Augmented reality (AR) is a widely known technology. Similarly, virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) are also widely known technologies. There are various possibilities with them. AR, VR, and MR are the XR technologies which are filled with extraordinary capabilities. They are growing at a rapid speed. These XR technologies can efficiently be put into use in different sectors. They can create a positive impact in different sectors with their presence. In fact, they can revolutionize a sector when applied for different applications within a sector. In this chapter, AR, VR, and MR technologies are briefly discussed and described. Along with it, their history, advantages, etc., are also discussed in the chapter.
