A Circuit Model for Polymer Transient-Voltage Suppressor

A circuit model for polymer transient-voltage suppressors has been described. Employing this model, circuit simulation studies have been carried out to determine the response of the transient suppressor to Human Body Model (HBM) Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) transient. The model would be useful in the study of off-chip ESD protection for RF and high-speed digital circuits.
