The New GSM-Like Exposure System

Biomedical experiments with investigate possible effect arising from handheld terminals as GSM mobile phones must deploy an excitation field witch matches the true situation. Complex amplitude-phase modulation from digital TDMA handheld terminals generated much more complicated than just EM fields bursting of RF field with certain repetition rate and duty cycle. In experiments with model of handheld phones we have to pay attention not only on RFEMF, but also on ELF magnetic field connected witch the current burst powered power amplifier, too. The H-field intensity was estimated for several types of portable devices and then confirmed on experimental way. A new exposure system was proposed that allow to expose an object simultaneously to HF EMF and LF H-field equivalent to the modulation system.
