The paper presented a high-accuracy bandgap reference (BGR) with multi-segment linear current compensation, achieving a low temperature coefficient (TC) over a wide temperature range. By segmenting the output voltage of the traditional first-order BGR and applying temperature compensation in each segment, the output voltage across all temperature ranges is stabilized to a consistent level, effectively reducing TC. The proposed bandgap reference is designed based on a 180nm CMOS process and achieves an average output voltage of 0.93 V; The best TC is 0.638 ppm/°C with a wide temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. The circuit consumes 17 μA at a supply voltage of 1.8 V. Additionally, it exhibits a line regulation (LR) of 0.023%/V across a supply voltage range from 1.5 V to 2.5 V.
