Social progress is brought about by a robust agricultural economy, which boosts income, employment, and productivity. In most rural areas, agriculture is the primary engine of development. In emerging nations, there is an increasing need for processed food, agricultural commodities, and basic foods. The application of cutting-edge technologies and data-driven farm operations to maximize and enhance sustainability in agricultural production is referred to as “smart farming” or “smart agriculture.” Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and the Internet of Things (IoT) are among the technologies utilized in smart farming. The goal of smart farming is to increase the predictability and efficiency of farm operations through the collection and interpretation of data utilizing computer technologies.
