Agile Infrastructure: Adapting Systems to Changing Business Requirements
William Penaflor Rey, Senen S. Dimanahan · 2024
Businesses today must match their business operations with the ever-changing needs of their customers to sustain competency and produce high-quality products and services. Businesses rely on information technology to effectively display and deliver their services to clients. Software development pushes tactics for speedier deployment of software products than in the past. However, IT infrastructure must keep up with today's rapid evolution. Maintaining infrastructure necessitates labor-intensive, repetitive tasks, making infrastructure staffing slow and unpredictable. This is most common in businesses that require a better understanding of modern infrastructure management. This study adds to the existing research on agile IT infrastructure. As a result, this study looks into how agile infrastructure concepts might be adopted in companies that use traditional infrastructure. It provides a qualitative study and proposes a core agile IT infrastructure design built on current technology and organizational capabilities to support organizational agility. This proposed architecture addresses the recurrent issue of manning a rigid infrastructure and highlights the benefits of utilizing such strategies.
