This paper focuses on the most common type of cancer, Breast cancer which is growing at faster rate as people in India. There are about 1,78,000 cases in India every year. The objective of this project is to focus on a diagnostic method called thermography which uses an embedded MLX90614 Temperature Sensor array to detect breast cancer. It is identified that the particular area of the tumor show up temperature variations of (>=0.3 to <=5) degree Celsius. Data is gathered by the temperature sensor array and processed by the Arduino Nano microcontroller Board. The data collected from the temperature sensors are processed in the Arduino Nano microcontroller board and the difference in the temperature variations is used to detect the cancer cells. This system uses Naive Bayes, KNN, SVM and Logistic regression which processes the dataset containing the temperature values and gives the output for the data in the real time. The output is displayed in the blynk application. This system uses an edge AI technology and hence data can be processed at the edge with an accuracy of 94.5% giving immediate response. The system is compact for women who can periodically monitor for tumors at the comfort of their homes..
