In this paper, we will explore the contextual concerns to the study, various challenges with a manual system and the driving force towards the need of Online Registration System(ORS), various technological improvisations in ORS, major (user and technological-based) architectures refinements, most implacable revolutions, statement of the problem, aim, objectives and challenges. After E. F. Codd's (1970) twelve rules for relational database perception, the initial movement has been started towards keeping the data storage at upfront and high priority job in an efficient way of storing, processing, and retrieving back. Later, E. F. Codd's view extended to a more important purpose of storing and analytics of statistical data (Sakti P. Ghosh, 1986). The disc and tape were the main storage mechanism at that time and the file system was the main operating mechanism. Both were sequential and the speed and capacity were the main disadvantages. Data and information security was also the new dimension for continuous system evaluation.
