Secure and Transparent Blockchain Donations: An Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) Framework for Enhanced Donor Control

Swati V. Jadhav, Nitin Namdeo Pise · 2024

This paper proposes a novel Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) framework tailored for blockchain philanthropy platforms, addressing the limitations of traditional Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) systems. Utilizing a consortium blockchain network, the framework ensures secure and transparent management of charitable donations, enabling donor control and aligning contributions with philanthropic goals. Cryptographic techniques enforce access control policies based on donor attributes, enhancing security and accountability. Experimental results demonstrate the framework’s efficiency, low storage, computation overheads, scalability, and ability to handle moderate transaction volumes effectively. Future research will focus on integrating the system with existing platforms and exploring privacy-preserving ABAC techniques.
