Aatmanirbhar Sanchar - Blockchain based Approach for Multimedia Communication

With increasing concerns about digital privacy and security, the development of a new chat application is crucial. This paper presents a decentralized and highly secure communication platform that uses blockchain technology to address issues related to authentication, encryption, and data storage. The platform allows users to create chat rooms and engage in secure conversations with both text messages and multimedia files. It employs Hyperledger Fabric to manage user authentication, handle chat room details, achieve consensus through the RAFT protocol, and preserve messages. The system ensures robust user verification before granting access, and every action—from authentication to messaging—is recorded on an immutable blockchain ledger, enhancing transparency and eliminating the need for central intermediaries.
