In view of the problems of huge data volume and low processing efficiency in the inspection of transmission, transformer and distribution equipment, this study proposed a cloud computing-based UAV inspection data management system. The system makes full use of the elastic computing power and massive storage resources of cloud computing to achieve efficient processing and storage of high-definition images and video data collected by UAVs. The core algorithm of the system is the image fusion stitching algorithm, which can accurately align and fuse the images taken by the UAV at different angles and positions to generate high-resolution panoramic images, and provide support for the comprehensive evaluation of equipment status. In order to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm and the practicability of the system, this paper designed a model simulation to simulate the UAV inspection scene in a complex environment. By comparing and analyzing the processing speed and image quality of the traditional image processing method and the image fusion stitching algorithm of this system, the simulation results show that the algorithm is superior to the traditional method in image resolution, stitching accuracy, and processing speed. The average image stitching error is less than 1%, and the image fusion processing speed is increased by more than 3 times. In addition, the simulation also shows the stability and scalability of the system when facing many concurrent data streams in the cloud computing environment, which proves the rationality and high efficiency of the system design.
