Educational video recordings accessible online are a versatile resource like a textbook. Accessing the content of interest in a lecture video is quite challenging due to absence of indexing of the video content. Designing a framework can significantly improve the overall user experience with regard to video retrieval and accessibility. This work is intended to personalize the searches based upon individual user preferences and aids in enhancing not only the content discovery but also the overall user experience. We also discuss the need for more effective recommendation system and customized navigation improves the educational video consumption in digital age.
