As smartphone application technology advances, grocery services have evolved to connect consumers with products through the internet, transforming into e-groceries. Klik Indomaret stands as an example of a long-established minimarket that has successfully transitioned to an online platform, making it an ideal case for studying usability challenges in e-groceries applications. While Klik Indomaret provides shopping convenience, users often struggle with navigating the application interface, impacting their overall experience. This research uses Klik Indomaret as a study case to identify the core issue of poor usability, which leads to user frustration and inefficiency. This study addresses these challenges through micro-interactions, which offer clear feedback and interactive guidance, improving usability. However, current micro-interactions are either underutilized or fail to provide sufficient feedback or guidance, causing confusion and interrupting user flow. By applying micro-interaction elements such as Triggers, Rules, Feedback, and Loops and Modes, and following User-Centered Design principles through iterative prototyping and user testing, micro-interactions can enhance usability and user satisfaction. Research indicates that well-designed micro-interactions significantly improve the usability of Klik Indomaret, with measurable improvements in usability and user experience goals. These findings confirm that well-designed micro-interactions effectively address usability issues and improve the overall effectiveness of the application, making it more user-friendly and efficient for its audience.
