Data Management Scheme Using LwM2M in Optical Fiber Network Monitoring System

The authors have proposed an optical fiber network monitoring system that utilizes IoT technology to quickly detect failures in optical fiber networks. In this paper, we introduce a data management scheme based on Lightweight Machine to Machine, a standard protocol for IoT device management, into the optical fiber network monitoring system. Compared with the conventional monitoring system, the proposed system reduces the amount of data transmission and improves the scalability and maintainability.
