The Method of Distance Measurement Using a Broadband Noise-like Signal

The main methods of radar distance measurement are considered in the article. The structural diagrams of radio distance meters are presented, their advantages and disadvantages are considered. A method of distance measurement with the correlation processing of a broadband noise-like signal is proposed. The structural diagram of a radio rangefinder that implements this method is considered. Graphs obtained as a result of computer simulations are given, which explain the operation of the device.
