A modern web service consists of two key components: a front-end and a back-end system. The front-end handles user interactions and forwards requests to the back-end. The back-end processes these requests, generates the necessary data or responses, and sends them back to the user through the front-end. Therefore, developing effective web services requires careful design of both the front-end and back-end systems, as well as the interface between them. This study focuses on the front-end and proposes a notation to represent it as discrete event systems, addressing challenges related to HTML syntax complexity and link modification.
