Hand gesture recognition plays a vital role in enabling communication for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This study introduces the HaGRID dataset and the HiFYnet model, which greatly improve the accuracy and efficiency of gesture recognition systems. By handling both static and dynamic gestures, this research advances the capabilities of gesture recognition technology, creating new possibilities for enhanced communication tools.
