Facial recognition technology plays a vital role in numerous industries in today’s digital era. It is a widely used biometric identification method for security, authentication, and identification purposes. Despite having lower accuracy rates compared to iris and fingerprint recognition, facial recognition is preferred due to its non-intrusive and touchless characteristics. Additionally, these systems are being more commonly integrated for attendance monitoring in schools, offices, and other establishments. The objective is to enhance attendance procedures by substituting labor-intensive and environmentally harmful manual methods. With the increasing need for effective attendance monitoring, the significance of facial recognition systems is on the rise.
