Virtual reality (VR) technology provides a profoundly immersive experience by engaging numerous senses (Savickaite et al., 2022). To harness the full potential of VR, it is essential to prioritize accessibility in its design. As a foundational element in VR applications, accessibility and inclusivity ensures that everyone can benefit from the offered experiences regardless of their capabilities. As individuals, we go through life we might encounter disabilities or impairments. Our dependence on technology often increases as our dependencies and needs shift (Fuglerud, 2014). This chapter delves into the principles of accessibility in VR, emphasizing the critical role of designers. Furthermore, it sheds light on the different dimensions of VR and lists vital accessibility attributes for VR products.
