A REVIEW ON INTELLIGENT TUTORING SYSTEMS: Enhancing Learning with Conversational AI

In this research article is that in modern education, artificial intelligence is used to provide personalized, interactive learning experiences. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of an Intelligent Learning System (ITS) in the form of a chatbot tailored for first-year Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students. The proposed system acts as a conversational agent that can explain complex topics in a simplified manner while engaging students in active problem solving. Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), the chatbot provides real-time answers and explanations to students’ questions, tailored to their individual learning needs. The system also includes an automatic multiple-choice question (MCQ) generation module for formative assessment.
