Large wind tunnels are able to simulate the details of the test model more accurately due to their larger test section cross-sectional dimensions. However, the large size of the test model also brings the problem of low model installation efficiency in the wind tunnel. To solve the difficult and complex problem of installing large-sized models in large wind tunnels, with low efficiency, many steps and a long time, a ground-based comprehensive test system for large wind tunnels was developed to reduce the difficulty and time of installing large-sized models in the wind tunnel. This system can detect various problems in the manufacturing, assembly and testing process of the model in advance, and realize the fast installation of large-sized models in large wind tunnels. The application of multiple model test in FL-10 wind tunnel proves that the ground-based comprehensive test system for large wind tunnels has good structural stability, high system automation, and can realize the installation, simulation and testing of large-sized models outside the wind tunnel, effectively improving the test efficiency of FL-10 wind tunnel.
