Multi-scale separated spatio-temporal attention mechanism joint computer vision applied to sports video monitoring research

Rui Wang · IET conference proceedings. · 2025

Artificial intelligence/intelligent algorithms are applied to sports video monitoring to accurately analyze movements, then help the coach to develop more scientific and reasonable training strategies to comprehensively improve the athletes' competitive performance. In order to more accurately capture and judge the athlete's specific position and posture on the sports field, a video monitoring technology is designed to accurately judge the movement posture and position of athletes in sports. In the process, multi-scale separation of spatio-temporal attention mechanism is used, and computer vision technology is combined. The experimental results show that when the resolution is 448×448, the frame map is 33. In the monitoring of football, and table tennis, the processing time of the research method is 17, 14 and 18ms respectively, which is significantly lower than that of the comparison algorithm. The results show that the method has higher accuracy and processing efficiency, and can provide high-quality information support for sports video monitoring.
