Distributed ledger technology has emerged as a transformative influence in various industries, including healthcare. At its core, blockchain offers a decentralized and unchangeable record system, ensuring information authenticity and transparency. When applied to healthcare, this technology holds the capability of addressing some of the sector’s most critical challenges related to data exchange and storage. Lots of information is formed in the healthcare division every day, including information about patients, various test results and medical related images. In today’s scenario, the data very much needs to be stored and provide security for correct access by the right person. There are a number of risks to storing and retrieving the data from centralized databases, such as manipulation of data and data breaches, etc. The blockchain technology helps us to store and retrieve the data more securely and it is difficult to track by unauthorized users to modify the data. The proposed research explains the idea of how to store and retrieve the medical data more securely by applying blockchain technology to facilitate data sharing and exchange more easily and simply. Due to large networks, the information is shared among various hospitals by different vendors like hospitals, laboratories, insurance companies, government, etc. Subsequently, treatment times, misdiagnoses and greater expenses might cause fragmentation. Due to these fragments, blockchain provides a simpler and better way, so that patients are getting better treatment and trust with medical related parties. Hence, the blockchain has changed data sharing, exchanging, accuracy, and preventing breaches for smooth communication with patient. Experts from healthcare need to collaborate with the digital era to utilize blockchain technology to the maximum in healthcare industries..
