In the modern society, media consumption patterns are rapidly changing, and this is particularly evident in the preference for TV media. According to the media panel survey for TV media preference, the drama was the most preferred content in 2013, but the news became the most preferred content in 2023. To analyze these changes, this study analyzed news and drama articles using GCN and BERTopic. As a result, news-related keywords have increased significantly in 2023, suggesting that public interest in news has increased. In addition, it was analyzed that the preference for drama in TV media has decreased as people watch dramas on mobile devices instead of TV due to the spread of OTT services. These results provide important clues for understanding the changes in media consumption patterns and can be used as useful data for establishing media content strategies in the future.
