Kaiian Kuok, Xuan Liu, Yaokang Wang, Wenjian Liu · 2024

The growing demand for continuous and remote patient monitoring has highlighted the need for the seamless integration of multiple medical devices using reliable wireless technologies. This study investigates the use of Bluetooth technology to integrate six different medical devices for monitoring key health parameters. We developed a Bluetoothbased system to collect data from devices that measure blood oxygen, blood pressure, blood glucose, uric acid, heart rate, ECG, cholesterol levels, temperature, weight, and BMI. The system demonstrated reliable and accurate data transmission across all devices, ensuring real-time monitoring capabilities. This integration offers a robust solution for enhancing remote healthcare delivery, supporting more accurate and timely medical diagnoses.
