YOLOv3 Based Deep Learning Model for Weapon Detection

People are mostly concerned about security and safety these days. The timely detection of suspicious activities or weapons is need of time. The detection can be done using various deep learning models effectively. In this research, we used YOLOv3 model for detecting weapons like Kinfe, guns. The experimental results shows that YOLOv3 model detected weapons with confidence score of 0.42 and 0.78 for guns whereas YOLOv3 successfully detects knife with confidence score of 0.71.
