An Anonymous Identity Authentication Scheme Integrating Trust Determination for Cloud-Edge Collaborative Task Scheduling

Jiatong Li, Boxin Yang, Wenhua Huang, Ling Zhao · 2024

The traditional centralized cloud-based collaborative task scheduling model faces various challenges such as network latency, data confidentiality, and business flexibility. The integration of edge computing technology into cloud-edge collaborative task scheduling has become the current trend. With the transformation of scheduling models, the task scheduling environment further presents characteristics such as deep resource heterogeneity and complex task collaboration levels, leading to an increased risk of privacy leakage during the scheduling process. In response, an anonymous identity authentication scheme integrating trust determination for cloud-edge collaborative task scheduling is proposed. To address the potential malicious behaviors resulting from identity hijacking after secure device access, a comprehensive subjective and objective trust relationship model is introduced to discern malicious device actions and promptly revoke the anonymity of counterfeit devices, ensuring reliable scheduling execution. Additionally, to further achieve collaborative task scheduling objectives across resources, traffic, business, and security goals at the cloud-edge, the solution incorporates smart contract technology to regulate scheduling strategy execution and introduces blockchain for unified storage and management of critical scheduling records. Finally, through correctness analysis, security analysis, and efficiency analysis, the feasibility of the solution is validated.
