Copilot in Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel can be one of the more daunting products within the Office suite, as it demands a high level of precision and care with the various formulas, numbers, etc. This chapter focuses on how Copilot works within Excel. It explores some of the requirements for working with data and how one can use Copilot to complete complicated tasks, all with natural language. The chapter also focuses on identifying a dataset, preparing the workbook, manipulating Excel data, creating new formulas, creating charts, creating a pivot table with copilot, and so on. Perhaps one of the most common tasks when working with data in Excel is to apply formatting. The chapter explains how to manage sales data with Copilot. The trick to getting the best output from Copilot is to be incredibly explicit with the desired output.
