This research chapter aims to identify the efforts blockchain can make in improving the land and property registries by overcoming the issues like fraud, corruption, ineffectiveness, and low transparency. The chapter highlights the three primary advantages of the blockchain: decentralization, smart contracts, and the generation of immutable records via block usage. This research proposes a framework for blockchain integration and discusses the key components of the integration process, including the system architecture, smart contract creation, legal compliance, and security aspects. This chapter has used examples of Georgia, Sweden, and India to show that blockchain is feasible and useful for the development of efficient and secure systems of land registries. The research indicates that blockchain has noteworthy prospects for augmenting the efficacy of land management, while also promoting accountability and safeguarding property rights. The success of the endeavor depends on the implementation of effective planning, coordination, and assessment strategies.
