Secure Wireless Multicasting Over Duel-Branch Correlated Channels with MRC Diversity Technique

A multicasting scenario over a correlated Nakagamim fading channel is explored in this paper, where a single antenna source transmits to a destination in the presence of an eavesdropper. The destination has multiple antennas, as does the eavesdropper. The transmission of the information is deemed safe if an eavesdropper cannot tap into it. In this context, the probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNZSMC) and the secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM) have been derived in closed-form based expressions which shed light on how different system parameters uniquely impact these metrics. The results show that secrecy performance worsens as the number of destinations, eavesdroppers, and the correlation coefficient increase, but improves with greater antenna diversity and fading.
