Efficient Generalized Circuital Analysis of Rectangular Semi-Anechoic Chambers and NSA Computation

A modal analysis method for the study of semi-anechoic chambers has been developed. The method is based on the relationship between the modal coefficients of the electric and magnetic fields in the walls of the chambers in both the homogeneous and inhomogeneous solutions. Moreover, the study of the layers of dielectric and ferrite is simplified by the approximation of waveguides. The method provides a very efficient and accurate technique for computing the electromagnetic field. In particular, it allows to predict the behaviour of the chamber by computing the Normalized Site Attenuation (NSA).
