EMC on NEW Efficient and Economic Cabling System

This paper deals with studies undertaken to insure EMC “crosstalk” of a new “Efficient and Economic Cabling System”, based on flat ribbon organised cables, which would interest next generation aircraft electrical bundles, exploiting technologies developed for the electronics industry and which are beginning to be applied in the automotive industry. First is presented the new cabling concept with its interests and second the EMC study approach with the obtained results are described. The EMC study approach, based on modelling, uses an electrical network software including transmission lines. This enables a great number of cases examination to optimise EMC signals allocation.
