Longitudinal Power Monitoring in Low Accumulated Chromatic Dispersion Regime

We present a longitudinal power monitoring method in low accumulated chromatic dispersion regime where the stationary complex Gaussian process assumption is invalid. Inaccuracy of enhanced regular perturbation model is presented, and a correction factor is proposed and experimentally confirmed in a multi-span optical link.
