Faculty job satisfaction and performance are important for the success and reputation of educational institutions. This study examines the supporting mechanisms institutions can provide to enhance faculty members' job satisfaction and performance. We conducted activities with 500 faculty from multiple higher education institutions using a mixed-method approach to investigate perceptions of support, job satisfaction, and performance. This study utilized qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys to collect mixed data. Findings suggest that institutional support (i.e., professional development opportunities, administrative assistance, work-life balance programs, and recognition plans) significantly impacts increased job satisfaction and productivity among faculty members. The results highlight the necessity of providing a workplace conducive to scholarly excellence and faculty stability.
