With the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), synthetic personas – virtual representations of real individuals – are becoming integral to PR efforts. We begin by defining each term and looking closely at their contributions to PR. Subsequently, the chapter will delve into two of the most popular AI-generated synthetic personas, Tumi and Miquela, and assesses their advantages and drawbacks in PR.
